Do I ever love me some lipstick. It’s the perfect pick me up because, on a bad day, there’s always lipstick. When it comes to lip colors, I don’t discriminate. Reds, pinks, purples and nudes, I love them all equally- but today I’m shining the spotlight on nudes! Wearing a nude lip color is like wearing neutrals. It goes with just about every makeup look, outfit and hair color- It’s pretty much a staple in everyone’s makeup collection, but it’s a little tricky finding one that doesn’t wash you out. Being the lipstick junkie that I am, here are my top drugstore picks for nudes!
Now just a little disclaimer, personally, I like nude lipstick that aren’t true nudes. All of my top picks have either a pink or a peachy/brown undertone.
1- Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in shade Seduction
A nude with a slight pink undertone, lightweight, non-drying and has more of a velvet finish. It also has a mango and vanilla fragrance, but once applied the scent faded away and has a fairly large plush applicator. I find it to be long-lasting considering I only had to reapply it once after eating throughout 8 hours of wear.
2- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in shade London
More of a peach to brown undertone, matte finish, creamy, opaque and surprisingly long-lasting compared to some of my higher-end lip stains. It also has a vanilla/cocoa butter fragrance that lingers for a while.
3- Annabelle Lipliner in shade Buff
The perfect “your lips but better” nude. Incredibly creamy, very easy to work with (it glides on and does not tug at the lips), and although not waterproof (Annabelle does carry a line of waterproof liners), definitely long-lasting. I wear it on its own with a little lip balm underneath.

4- Annabelle Waterproof Lipliner in shade Nude
This isn’t exactly a “nude” per say, but it’s called nude so that must count for something! More of a brown nude shade, long-lasting, incredibly creamy and very easy to work with. Again, I wear it on its own with a little lip balm underneath.
