I am not joking when I tell you that my bathroom cabinet is completely overloaded with beauty products. From makeup to skin care and everything in between, I’m addicted! Although, when it comes to my skin care, I am a bit more picky because I have very sensitive and acne prone skin. Over time, I have come to get a better understanding of what kind of skin care works best for me and which doesn’t. With that being said, there are still some products that slip through the cracks and cause me to have bad reactions, so I am still on the hunt for a cleanser that gives me the best results.

What it is formulated to do: A featherweight version of the world champion of oils, 100% Pure Argan Oil Light moisturizes deeply and absorbs quickly, leaving a semi-matte finish. Produced by Moroccan women’s co-ops, this top-grade Argan Oil is extracted from the nut of the argan tree, then first-cold-pressed to protect its healthy, hydrating properties. Wear it under makeup or instead of makeup, and fear not if your skin is oily. This must-have oil actually reduces sebum production, so it is ideal for all skin types, especially breakout-prone and sensitive. [taken from sephora.com]
My results: LOVE! This product truly delivers. I received a sample of it at Sephora, and after trying it, I went back and purchased the smallest size, and within four weeks of using this product, my skin felt incredibly moisturized, more radiant, and smooth. I apply 2-3 drops in the morning under my makeup, and I love the semi-matte finish it leaves. I also apply 2-3 drops at night after washing my face. When I wake up the next morning, my skin is still radiant! I bought it August 7th and finished it September 12th, so a little definitely goes a long way. People who have oily skin, always think that adding oil to your face will make it worse! I promise you that is not the case. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with any skin type.
Would I repurchase? Yes! In fact, I already did.

My results: I wanted to like this, but it just did not work with my skin. It was included in a set of beauty samples that I had received as a gift for my birthday. Unfortunately, I did not experience any of the claims stated above. I don’t blame the product because this clearly works for others with great results, but my skin just doesn’t like face creams. I never feel hydrated, which causes my skin to create excess oils. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. I have to give it one positive note, at least. The smell is divine! Scented with cucumber, it’s basically like a spa in a bottle.
Would I repurchase? Sadly, no.

My results: This shampoo and conditioner may be my new favorite! The shampoo is sulfate-free, but still lathers up really nice, and almost has a creamy like texture. My second-day hair wasn’t as oily, which made me apply less dry shampoo. I also saw a huge difference in the strength, smoothness, and shine of my hair. The scent is luxurious but not overwhelming and lasted 3 days after washing it. I have fine hair but with loads to go around, and this worked wonders for my hair!
Would I repurchase? Absolutely 100%, yes!

What it is formulated to do: This natural, clinically-proven morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles. Unsightly bags and puffiness virtually disappear. And Origins’ proprietary complex of caffeine from coffee bean, Panax ginseng, magnolia extract, and natural optic brighteners rapidly wakes up, refreshes, and restores radiance to tired eyes. Best for all skin types. [taken from sephora.com]
My results: I need to start by saying, that I LOVE Origins! I have only ever had great experience and results with their products. It was no surprise that this eye cream worked for me. This was a sample size that isn’t sold. I apply in the morning under my makeup, and it depuffed and brightened my under eyes beautifully. It also helped my concealer to last longer without settling in my creases. I also apply it at night, and it’s been a great addition to my night-time routine. Jude hasn’t been very nice in the sleeping department the past 3-4 months, so this was a life saver!

What it is formulated to do: A facial cleansing gel for complexions prone to oiliness and breakouts, particularly in the T-zone. This luxurious gel works to balance the complexion, remove dirt, and dissolve excess sebum. The bio active extract of may blossom provides skin with flavonoid nutrients as it works to decongest the skin. [taken from sephora.com]
My results: Recommended by a sales associate at Sephora, this was the first time I tried this skin care line. Firstly, my skin did not break out from this, which is a huge plus right away. During the summer, my skin was definitely getting oily in the t-zone, and this really helped keep it under control. It also helped clear some of my acne without over-drying my skin, and the gel feels really nice on the skin. This is a really great morning cleanser!
Would I repurchase? Absolutely.
Have you tried any of these products out yourself? I’d love to hear your opinion and experience with them. What I’ve learned from this post, is that I will be making a trip to Sephora in the VERY near future!
