I say this time and time again, that Fall is by far my favorite season. The changing of the leaves, the cool sweater weather, apple and pumpkin picking, and all the delicious warm drinks. There are many things that I love about this season, but when Daylight Savings rolls around the corner, I start to get the Fall blues. The decreased hours of sunlight is always dreadful and not to mention it takes us at least a month to adjust to the time change. Waking up anywhere from 3-5am hasn’t been all that fun. Yup, that’s mom life for you! I also must add that as a blogger, the fall and winter seasons are by far the busiest time of year, which means more time spent sitting in front of the computer screen.
I needed something to help boost my mood and that’s why I tried Adrien Gagnon Go Omega Emotions/Mood. It promotes a balance in moods and emotions and helps maintain cognitive and brain functions. Being a vegetarian for a year, Omega-3s weren’t foreign to me. I took them on a daily basis because I wasn’t getting the recommended weekly intake of Omega-3s (which we get from eating fatty fish like Tuna, Salmon, and Trout).
What I like about Go Omega Emotions/Mood, is that it doesn’t have that god-awful fishy aftertaste and every Adrien Gagnon omega product is tested for more than 95 contaminants (heavy metals, bacteria, PCBs, pesticides, oxidation, etc.) and must meet strict pharmaceutical quality and purity standards. Taking pills without having to worry is a huge win in my books!
I’ve started to change up my daily routine to really ensure that I boost my mood and beat the fall blues. Every morning, I take 3 soft gels with breakfast. I limit the time I spend on my phone in the morning and just focus on getting Jude ready for school. Once he’s off, I get myself ready for the day, then I have just enough time to respond to any emails and catch up on social media. For the rest of my day, I force myself to be more active outdoors like running after Jude, going for long walks and going to our local market for seasonal fruits and vegetables. As soon as bedtime rolls around, I try to give back to myself by taking a bath or reading one of my favorite cookbooks. Yes, cookbooks do relax me.
Since taking Go Omega Emotions/Mood, I find that I am able to concentrate on my daily task without being overly stressed and just overall have been in a much better mood! If you find yourself having a difficult time with the changing of the seasons and are looking for a non-fishy tasting omega-3s softgel, then I would highly recommend giving this a try! You can find these at Walmart, Well.ca, Amazon and many of your local Drugstores. Visit Adrien Gagnon for more information about their new lineup of Go Omega and for the complete list of retailers.
Have you ever taken Omega-3s? How do you beat the Fall blues?
