I have never been one who can plan an outfit ahead of time. I wish I can say that most of my outfits come together effortlessly, but that rarely happens.  When it comes to putting a look together, it all depends on my mood and what I’m inspired by.

Inspiration is everywhere! 

From watching Dazed And Confused and pulling out all of my high-waisted denim, overalls and slogan sweatshirts, as I day-dream about Matthew McConaughey [insert heart eyes emoji] pulling up next to me in his 1970 Chevelle SS 454. Alright, alright, alright 😉 I can’t even believe I’m about to say this, but even some of Jude’s trains…Yes, you read that right. Some of the color combinations are just spot on! With all that being said, one of the truest forms of inspiration comes from a single accessory, like this Jord wood watch. 

Jord is a company that focuses on creating wood timepieces that reflect the modern lifestyle. Their watches for women and men (many watches are unisex) are of great quality and I love how mine is lightweight. I’m always on the lookout for accessories that stand out and this watch definitely fits the bill.

From the moment I received the watch, so many outfits ideas swirled around in my head, but especially this look. I love how the maple compliments the green suede dress and how it pairs nicely with either gold or silver accessories.
