November officially means that we are a little less than 2 months away from Christmas. If you aren’t ready to hear about all that, then it also means that it’s time for my October beauty favorites! Is it just me or did October fly by like a DeLorean going at 88 mph!?! Yes, I am basically saying that we went back to the future… Nerdy movie pun accomplished!
This bronzer, highlighter, and blush trio were gifted to me on my birthday. The bronzer has a gorgeous satin finish, which makes my skin glow. The highlighter is a beautiful soft pink champagne shimmer, and the blush is my favorite dusty rose color with a hint of shimmer. It is such a beautiful everyday palette, and it’s also great for traveling!
It was love at first swipe! This stunner is a creamy powder highlighter that absorbs and reflects light for the ultimate natural glow. Girl, let me tell you! I apply this everywhere! Along the bridge and tip of my nose, my cheekbones, above my eyebrows, and on my cupids bow. It is such a beautiful color of soft white gold with pinky peach undertones, that would suit many skin tones. If you love looking like a glowing goddess, then do yourself a favor and pick it up!
I found my new favorite drugstore foundation! I was looking for a new foundation because I wanted something with fuller coverage and a matte finish for the Fall/Winter season. It had bold claims of being up to 24-hour wear, medium buildable coverage without looking cakey, and an air-light texture. I was a little skeptical at first…Well L’Oreal, I am impressed. This foundation gives me life! A huge plus in my books has to be the color, it matches my skin perfectly. If you have a yellow undertone, then you will need this foundation.
This face wash is one of Origins’ bestsellers for a reason! Taken from Sephora, “When it comes to faces that are both dry and oily, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out.”
I have very sensitive skin and it did not break me out. I do find it a little drying but I use argan oil afterward and it’s all taken care of. It lathers up really nice into a creamy texture and leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed. My skin is loving it!
& Velvet Matte Lip Pencil- CruellaAnnabelle Cosmetics Lipliner- 205 Cherry
I have reached for this color combo all month! I’ve been really into a classic red lip, which is quite unusual for me in the Fall. What can I say? I like to switch things up and live on the wild side these days. The Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is very moisturizing. The Annabelle Cosmetics Lipliner is soft and glides over my lips while giving me the kind of precision I need.
I really wanted to step up my eyebrow game and this helped me do it! I had never used a brow pomade before, so I wasn’t too sure how to use it. Well, I ended up with unnatural dark eyebrows that weren’t so pretty. With time, practice, and a light hand I finally can say that I love it and I never want to leave it. It’s creamy, long-wearing, and gives a natural full look. The brush that comes with it is also very good.
There you have it, folks! From products that made me glow like a goddess to products that helped me achieve a classic red lip. I love beauty products! Did you have any favorites this month? Please share!
