This easy tousled hair is one of four go-to hairstyles I do. Four hairstyles may not seem like a huge range, but that’s what happens when you ain’t got time fo that! This look takes about 10 minutes and looks great on just about any haircut. Long, short, or layers, you’ll look fabulous without a doubt!
The main tool you’ll be needing for this look is a curling wand(clipless curling iron). I’ve had this curling iron for many years and all I did was unscrew the clip to create a curling wand. The size of the barrel will decide the size of the “waves” you are creating. A larger barrel will give a looser wave, while a smaller barrel will give you tighter curls. I used a 1-1/2 ” barrel to achieve this look.
Easy Tousled Hair
First I spray my hair with TRESemme Heat Tamer Hair Spray and brush my hair to remove any tangles, as well as to evenly distribute the product. I part my hair down the middle from front to back. I start on one side of my head curling 3-4 inch sections at a time, wrapping my hair away from my face on the barrel while leaving out the ends. I leave it on for no longer than 15-20 seconds.
Once I’m finished curling my hair, I spray some Macadamia Healing Oil Spray onto the ends of my hair for shine and nourishment.
I run my fingers through my hair for a more “undone” look, and voilà! You have yourself easy tousled hair and it only took about 10 minutes. I say 10 minutes because I take an extra 2 minutes to stare at myself in the mirror afterward. JOKING…but totally not! For this look, I normally won’t set it with hairspray because I like the way it falls a few hours later, but you can totally set it if you prefer to. Oh, and just incase you didn’t know about this amazing trick, I’m about to let you in on a little secret. Curling your hair always looks better on second-day hair…or third…or fourth. Just whip out your dry shampoo and you’re good to go!
