Hello everyone and welcome to my 2015 March favorites! March has come to an end and I am ready to welcome Spring with loving arms wide open. At the end of every month, I will show you things that I’ve loved. The items will range from beauty products to clothing and accessories and sometimes food, music, books and maybe even a person. Enjoy 🙂
Maybelline Fit Me! Hydrate+Smooth: When spring comes rolling back into our lives, I switch up from full coverage makeup to lightweight dewy freshness! This is hands down my absolute favorite drugstore foundation! It has a dewy finish, matches my skin tone perfectly and is a light to medium coverage.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: Now I am very late to the “Beauty Blender” game. I’ve used foundation brushes for years and I couldn’t picture myself using anything else…until I decided that it wouldn’t hurt to try for $5. I’m obsessed! I can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner. This foundation applied with this sponge, is what I’ve missed out on!
CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in shade Delicious 340: This month I was on a search for the perfect everyday lipstick. I needed something with color but not too bold and this shade is something I did not have in my collection. These lipsticks are very hydrating and have a full coverage color with a high shine intensity. Normally I prefer matte finishes and sometimes satin, but these were too beautiful to pass up.
CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in shade Euphoria 315: I am an absolute sucker for a bold lip and that is all I own, so inevitably I always end up buying more. I couldn’t resist this rich and beautiful darker berry shade.
L’Oreal Voluminous Million Excess Lashes Mascara: In my opinion, L’Oreal makes the best drugstore mascaras. They haven’t disappointed me yet! They claim to leave no clumps with intense maximized volume and that is exactly what I get. 🙂
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in shade Set Sail 424 and Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in shade Breezy Blue 481: This month I am all about blue nails and these Sally Hansen polishes are doing it for me! I stocked up on a few when I saw them on sale for $2 each. With a great top coat, they last me 4-6 days without chipping.
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask: I received a sample of this from Sephora and immediately fell in love, so of course I went back to buy the full size. It’s a mask with activated charcoal that draws out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers. It plays a big part in helping me with my acne and a little product goes a long way.
Soap&Glory Smoothie Star Buttercream: I can’t get enough of this body butter! I received a sample of it from Sephora as well and needed to buy the full size. Not only does it smell delicious (yes I said delicious because you might be tempted to taste it) but is also incredibly hydrating. I use it daily and this bad boy makes my skin silky smooth. The only downfall about it is that it was a pain in the butt to find in my area but thankfully I found it online.
Acqua Di Gioia by Giorgio Armani: One of my best friends is an absolute doll! She gave this to me and I’ve worn it almost everyday since. Thank you Cherie xox
Generous Cross-body Aldo Bag: Orange and blue are my obsession coming into the Spring season and with a touch of gold details, this bag has it all. Now I need to update my wallet and I’m set for the new season. The bag is now on sale from $40 to $30. Check it out!
The Office: My Netflix choice for this months binge watching. Currently on the second to last season and I’m getting sad all over again. When it aired on TV, I never finished the series. Thanks to Netflix, I get to laugh my butt off every night at the hilarious pranks Jim plays on Dwight and watch Micheal Scott be the best boss ever at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
Cue in Julie Andrews, “These were a few of my favorite things!”. If you like these kinds of posts, I would also like to do a family favorites post. So let me know in the comment section below. What were your favorite things during the month of March?
** Some items I could not find links for, but you can find them at Walmart or at your local drugstore.
