When it comes to my hair, I like to keep things simple. It’s all about quality and not quantity. Here’s a little rundown about my hair. It is thin, but there is enough to go around. It has a slight natural wave, but straightens out when I run a brush through. I’ve also had long hair most of my life and is currently at my natural hair color. Surprisingly it has managed to stay healthy considering I hit the ombre trend about 2 years back.
Here are my current favorite hair products…
CosmePro Bio Lavande Shampoo and Conditioner A new-found favorite! I had never heard of this brand before until I stumbled upon it at my local drugstore and I am SO GLAD I did. When it comes to washing my hair, I prefer the products to be more natural. If you aren’t used to natural shampoos, then you should know that most of them don’t lather up like regular ones. Most shampoos have a foaming agent added to them. I used to be convinced that if my shampoo did not do that, then my hair wasn’t clean enough. Was I wrong. Since I made the change, I couldn’t happier. My hair is at its best because of that. You’re welcome 😉
Tresemme Thermal Creations I am sure many of you have heard about this one. It is probably the most popular drugstore heat protection spray out there. I have bought this for about 5 years straight and never looked back. Every time I run out, I always find it on sale at my local Walmart! For under $5, you can’t go wrong. I apply this before I blow dry my hair when it is damp and brush it through to evenly distribute the product.
Macadamia Healing Oil Spray My favorite part of my routine. I love this oil. It really adds such a great shine and softness. I only apply it to my ends on damp hair after my heat protection spray. Also, once my hair is set and styled, I lightly mist over again for added shine. The smell is pretty strong, so it can be a hit or miss based on that aspect.
L’Oreal Elnett Satin On the days that I curl my hair, this is my go-to hairspray. Everything this product claims to do, it does. Long lasting hold and disappears at the stroke of a brush. Just take my money!
I have a stash of hair products in my bathroom, but these are the regulars! What are your favorite hair products you cannot live without? Let me know in the comments!
